Project: YWCA in Santa Clara Valley (YWCA) Web site Purpose: Redesign and redevelop Web site for a major YWCA affiliate in the San Jose, CA area. Site design re-purposed for new national organization logo and color scheme in 2004. Responsibilities: All art direction, graphics, information architecture, forms development, SSL enablement, and continued site maintenance. Work with YWCA team to insure mission, information, and schedules are representative and consistent. (Client: 2001 - 2007 Note: as of May, 2006, site has been revised by volunteer — no longer S&A architecture nor design — S&A still engaged for maintenance through 2007; site longeveity: 2006 for Seidel & Assoc. design & architecture) Features: Complete informational site for San Jose's YWCA including secure donation system, complete class schedules, events pages with attendee registration forms, testimonial and statistics pages, complete programs listings, and PHP-enabled form-to-flat-file reservation form submission. Design and CSS implementation so that re-purposing site to accommodate national parent organization's adoption of new color and logo schemes was accomplished in hours instead of days of redevelopment time.
