Project: Archer Bravo Aviation URL: www.archerbravo.com Purpose: Design web site for web-based information on flight schools, small plane rentals, locations of rentals and aviation education, weather, aviation news, FBO reviews and more. Site is privately held and posed as informative to aviation enthusiasts, educatos, and students. Responsibilities: All art direction & graphics development, information architecture and UI design, development of base pages and navigation, styles and coding templates; collaboration with developer associate Jean-Louis Brunet on architecture and implementation of dynamic functionality for data presentation. (Client: 2005 - 2006; site longevity: current) Features: This site uses CSS-based navigation schema to provide visual context while making updates less labor intensive. PHP is used as application format, MySQL is the database platform. PHP admin pages alow site owner the ability to update information on site pages. Some information is automabically updated via database when information is uploaded by users/members.
